The magpie is the only non-mammal that can pass the mirror test, and has been observed to engage in limited tool use and elaborate grieving rituals. In addition, magpies are very good at vocal mimicry; here's a video of a magpie imitating a baby's laugh.

She lived about 8 years. She's buried in the back yard, I miss her so much. Beautiful, and very friendly animals.

Ravens are a favorite because of how smart they are and they're fucking huge. I was a bird nerd when I was a kid so I was just nerding out. Sorries. back into character WE LIKE LIONS!
