Anyway, mine would be a hand-forged folded steel katana, as that is the only melee weapon that I own.

I'm actually a fan of small-ish blades. Short swords, daggers, those kind of blades.

I like the Falchion a lot, its basically the love child of a short sword and a machete. An excellent amount of stabbing and cutting power combined in a small compact package. 
Had a Falchion once, could cut a three-fingers-thick tree with a relaxed swing.

Melee weapons only? This one.

I consider it wisdom more than wimpiness. Besides, have you ever fired a lupara? Those things have hella recoil.

Actually, it doubles as an effective club, leaving us on equal footing.

Oh, darn, I already spammed that thread! Well, my first choices are persuasion, charm and magic. If those don't work, there are practical choices like using a ball point pen or a golf club, but I wouldn't call those my favorites, as in, the weapon I drool over.

So yes, stilettos!
