What happened with the Army? If you can't get in the Army, you might have difficulty with the Marines. They have a more selective recruitment process than we do.

What exactly do you want to do in the military?

The Marines at the RSS have been trying to get me in for a year, the Army said no immediately. If the Marines didn't want me, I think they would have done the same.

As for jobs, was looking at either admin or data.

Admin or data (like Signal or Intel?) Try the Navy or Air Force for those jobs; you get better housing, benefits, and travel opportunities. You also generally get a better education from those branches for whatever role you choose.

Not that I'm trying to pressure you or say something different to what you're doing. But if those are the jobs you'd like to do, give the other branches a try. My first advice to anyone looking to join is to keep your options open, and don't buy into branch politics or rivalries (what I mean by this is that too many young kids join up so that they can be a MARINE SEMPER FI DEVILDOG OORAH! type, or a SEAL or Ranger or whatever).

ANYWAYS, this will be the last post here. This more than likely won't be forever, but I just need one less thing to keep me on my ass for a while.
