Not much to say about my town...a quiet little place somewhere in the middle of Europe. Boring place usually, but at the moment a lot of people don't seem to go out anymore, making it even more boring. That summer-flu however is hitting us hard here it seems. I wasn't affected yet, thank god, but I've seen some folks with pale skin and almost yellowish eyes, coughing all the time while they hobbled down the street. Poor people, they looked so miserable, I can surely think of better things to spend a summer then being sick! Well, better to keep your distance, you never know what you might catch...
Speaking of catch: Yesterday evening was however the strangest event ever happening to me here...you know, we have this weirdo-neighbour, and you never see him much outside, except when he wants to make some trouble, being drunk again. Better stay away from him, I am sure you folks know the type. But yesterday,, while bringing out the trash I could see him in his garden (which he never takes care of, it looks more like a jungle, and his house is no better, a totally run-down ruined shack).
Now the strange thing was that he was cowering on the grass...and...it seemed like he was eating soemthing from the ground!? I was so intrigued I carefully got a little closer and you wouldn't believe it: That fucker was eating a CAT!! Raw, with insides, fur and all...He made all kinds of weird noises while he devoured it and I was so shocked, I can tell you that..his mouth was all bloody as he shoved pieces of raw catmeat into his slobbering mouth...
He must be gotten totally crazy now, surely the damn flu has made the little what's left of his alcoholic brain gone totally cuckoo. We decided to go to his place today and confront him, though maybe we should just call the police and ..wait a second please, some idiot is hammering at the door, doesn't he know how to use a doorbell?...I am just looking what's up again now ...
