I recently finished Limbo, Murdered: Soul Suspect and Until Dawn. I didn't care for Limbo. I used to like puzzle-platformers, but I guess my brain just can't brain anymore. What would have taken any normal person maybe like an hour to get through took me... more than that. Although I didn't have to cheat until chapter 30-something! ...then I kept cheating and looking up solutions because I wanted it to be over. Murdered: Soul Suspect was pretty good, I do love me some murder mysteries. You play as the ghost of a cop that's been murdered by a serial killer, and you have to find clues to his identity and what he's after and such. There are also loads of collectibles, which are mostly pointless filler but some - the ghost stories you can get by picking up complete sets of items in each area - are quite entertaining. I did however encounter quite a few bugs, one of which I thought completely screwed me over, but some frantic googling came up with a solution (view a cutscene in your archives, the floor magically reappears). It's a very buggy game (at least on the PS4, and in my experience) but it was pretty enjoyable. And I heartily recommend Until Dawn. Lots of silly horror tropes and jump scares, but it works. It goes off in a different direction in the second half, but I still liked it. Although the run button could have actually made you, I dunno, run. Yeah, we're all being hunted by a crazed killer! Let's saunter casually through these woods. Ending spoilers: I ended with everyone alive except Jessica, who I lost on the home stretch because of a decision I made on the spur of the moment that I knew was wrong like a half-second after I pressed it. Oh well, I couldn't stand her anyway. I also lost Mike's wolf buddy because I didn't barricade the door. That one hurt.
