Thor is my fav hero.

He's the most human, with the best relationships, and the most relevant in the wider scheme of things.

Like I'm skint atm and that ticket was £12.50 with the student discount and it was still worth it.

I needed to feel like I did when Rohan charged to Minas Tirith.

I didn't.

But it was close.

Also T'Chala and Wakanda killing it in this Infinity War shit was the fucking best.

Also Thanos was interesting. If Killmonger was portrayed with that level of uhhh... I guess humanity? Him being half-right would have been far more powerful. But I really did wish they framed Thanos with a little bit more insanity. Not in the muahahahaha way, but in the way that you saw just how twisted his world view is. I felt there was a sense of "he might be right" underlining his whole motivational premise and that was a setback.

Cos it was dumb. His whole thing is wrong. He reminds me of extremists who cover their crap with truisms (in this case, resources are finite, people are doomed to die etc.) and that makes him scary; but wrong af non the less.

But Marvel movies are getting very close to being very good continuously. And Thanos just needed two or three re-drafts to be on Meruem-levels of writing.

Also.

I really think there was a missed opportunity here to make this war really feel like it mattered. I always had this feeling throughout the films that it was all going to build to this and it didn't. He comes out once, is hinted about two or three times. But that's it. Though it was really impressive as a movie that managed to give its massive cast screen time (*cough* looking at you Hobbit *cough*), I feel this could have wiped the floor with a lot of other big franchises if I cared a little more about who the villains were.
