Marvel’s Civil War II Launches With High Stakes & Major CasualtiesBe warned there are plenty of spoilers. In a nutshell, it takes the key idea of Minority Report, the ability to "see the future," (by no means an original idea) and offs a few characters (one dead, another injured, I think) to get the conflict going. Should we act against people who may commit a crime in the future even when they haven't now? The interesting bit is that Tony is the one arguing caution this time around while Captain Marvel says, "Sure, lock 'em up." You're bound to spot more similarities with the Civil War movie than the comic. Ultimately, it's a question that I feel deserves to be explored but I'm going to wait for a bit and see if Marvel can do it justice.
