It was jest censorship, I had that and one other word set up on the censorship a while back, a practical joke of sorts. I didn't expect that word being censored to be discovered this soon to be honest.

I was waiting for someone to quote Admiral Ackbar, "It's a hole!" that'd be hilarious.

There is one more to be found, but it'll probably be months from now before it is discovered even if people were intentionally looking for it.

If the Media section ends up staying, please run that by me again and I'll put it up for a vote on down the line. I really like that idea.

I very much preferred it if the layout stays as it was, although I may be a bit biased seeing how my primary interests are very much likely to always be on the front page.

Having many subsections may be neatly organized, but it also creates a barrier. Part of why I enjoyed Offtopic so much was that I was constantly exposed to other stuff. It's for example how I stumbled upon LP's RWBY thread and got hooked. In here, I like talking about anime and manga one second and then post a funny image on the BOOBIES or Workday cheer thread the next moment. THAT is the Offtopic experience imho.

I'd say let's wait and see how it goes before making lots of changes.

Maybe, if we really need to make it more organized, just create a single subsection for a wide area of shared interests.

Say instead of having a media section with its own anime and manga subsection, a videogame subsection, a TV subsection, etc., just have ONE media section.

Too much and feels like drawing borders.
